How do I set up All Media Downloader?

Do I need any other apps?
No. AMD runs entirely through the iOS Shortcuts app — install the shortcut, add your key, and start downloading. No companion apps required.
What iOS version do I need?
AMD works best on iOS 15 and later. Stay on the latest iOS version for the best compatibility. The shortcut also checks for updates automatically and will prompt you when a new version is available.

Which platforms are supported?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Likee, and DailyMotion — with more added in regular updates. See the full platform list above.
Where do downloaded files get saved?
Photos and videos save directly to your Photos library. Other media types (like audio) save to Files → On My iPhone → AMD DOWNLOADS by default. You can change the folder name inside the shortcut settings if you prefer a different location.
What quality are downloads?
AMD targets the highest quality each platform exposes. For most sites that means full-resolution photos and the best available video bitrate. YouTube is currently capped at 360p while server-side quality improvements roll out.
Can I download TikTok videos without a watermark?
Yes — when the source post allows it, AMD saves TikTok videos without the platform watermark. Reels, stories, and photo carousels from Instagram are supported too.
Does it work with Siri and the Share Sheet?
Yes. AMD is built for the iOS Share Sheet — tap Share in any supported app and pick All Media Downloader. You can also trigger downloads with Siri for hands-free saving.
Troubleshooting
I see "AMD key is missing" — what do I do?
Create or retrieve your key on your dashboard, then run the shortcut again. Make sure your key is saved in the AMD-Shortcut folder when prompted. An active Pro subscription is required for the key to work.
The shortcut says "file doesn't exist" — how do I fix it?
This usually means your AMD key file is missing or outdated. Create a fresh key on your dashboard, reinstall the shortcut from iCloud, and run it once to set up your key again.
Downloads fail, time out, or return an error — what should I try?
- Accept the latest shortcut update when prompted.
- Confirm your Pro subscription and AMD key are active.
- Check that the post is public — private or restricted content may not be supported.
- Try again on a stable connection; some platforms rate-limit requests.

How do I update to the latest version?
AMD checks for updates automatically. When a new version is available, the shortcut will ask if you want to install it — accept to stay compatible with all supported sites. You can also grab the latest build anytime from iCloud.
